The picture reminds me of the parable of the sower. The seeds are sown in different ground not just the fertile soil. Why would we sow onto stony ground?
To give the opportunity for others to nourish us on that part of our journey. It is up to all of us to walk with others at those times and support them. The stony ground is a picture of wonderful opportunities which can be taken if we are prepared to support others.
