Really liked this New Year’s wish from Neil Gaiman:
“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful. And don’t forget to make some art – write, or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope somewhere in the new year you surprise yourself.”
Yeah live up. I reread American Gods last winter, great read. I had given it to my dad cos he likes Stephen King, and I borrowed it back. I read the Sandman series in high school but not sure I would like it so much nowadays. Don’t have do much goth sensibilities. I like the title of your last post, not a fan of the macabre though. Good thoughts in your blog iin general.
thanks! try reading “Neverwhere” or “The Ocean at the End of the Lane” etc, they’re both more fantasy than goth.
