Blackwell House – The White Drawing Room

This is most likely the most beautiful room in England. It certainly is to me… Peaceful, light, spacious. Like in the rest of the house, all the furniture has been designed specially for this room. There are two window seats looking out over the gardens and the lake, and another cosy corner near the fire. Every detail is a discovery, and a pleasure to look at. I could certainly imagine myself living there, sitting with a book in one of the window seats, distracted by the views from time to time. Enjoying the beauty and the silence of this place. Loved it.
