This is a year I begin without any specific expectations or goals to work towards. Last year I thought I might leave my job towards the end of the year to join a religious community. The year before I had just started that job at the beginning of the new year. There always is something big and obvious, the next thing, whatever it is. This year has no agenda. And that can only be a good thing. Maybe I am in a “pathless place” after all. The year of grace has begun… I have no plan. There’s space.
Thanks to all of you who follow this blog – just with the beginning of the new year, we stepped over the “100 followers” line. Thank you! I wish all of you the best year yet, peace and happiness for yourselves and for those you love.
